History
Navona Gallery Suites are a collection
of 3 luxury apartments located in a 15th Century building
that was once the residence of a Cardinal of Rome. As
you walk through the huge wooden doors at the entrance,
through which lords used to ride their horses, the hallway
opens into a central courtyard filled with plants and
trees in the classic Roman open air style. Walking up
the stairs to the Suites you'll be charmed by the architecture
of the building, whether it is the wrought iron gates,
the vaulted arches of the hallway, or the beautiful
courtyard which in Springtime is simply a fragrant festival
of flora far removed from the hustle and bustle of the
crowded streets outside.
The Bernini is a spacious apartment which includes
a king size bed and antique furniture. The Borromini
suite is smaller and more intimate with a king size
bed and en-suite marble bathroom. Finally, the Michelangelo
suite was renovated in 2006 and contains a master bedroom,
hallway, dining room/living room plus a spacious terrace
ideal for lunches and dinners al fresco!
The building itself is fully secured, with an electronic
remote entry system for guests. We are meters away from
grocery stores, cafes, antique stores and restaurants,
as well as several bars and clubs for those of you interested
in the nightlife of Rome. Navona Gallery Suites is situated
in the back of the building, so there is virtually no
street noise thus ensuring a peaceful night’s
rest.
