clubs, and fine restaurants. 20 Meters away you will
find the famous Piazza Navona, as well
as Campo di Fiori, or the Field

daily, overflowing with flowers, fruits and vegetables,
meats, as well as shopping for trinkets. We are a 10
minute walk from St Peters and Castel Sant'Angelo
and within minutes walk of the Pantheon.
In addition the atmospheric Trastevere Neighbourhood
is only a 20 minute walk away.

The Via del Governo Vecchio's cobble
stoned streets will lead you to the Corso Vittorio,
where busses can take you to all parts of Rome or you
can take a taxi to a specific location if you like.
We like to encourage people to do as the Romans do here,
which is to walk and explore the area by foot. There
are so many incredible finds to be found when walking
the streets of this area, from art galleries featuring
antique paintings to modern art, boutiques peddling
anything from clothes to shoes to jewellery or just
viewing the incredible architecture that you'll find
is so common to this area. We don't suggest you take
the metro as the nearest tops are Piazza di Spagna which
is 30 minutes walk away. There is also a METRO station
Ottaviano San Pietro which is equi-distant with Spanish
Steps.
Arriving at the Navona Gallery Suites By Train
Rome's main train station Termini is only 2km from
the Navona Gallery Suites and is where all of Italy’s
Intercity and Euro Star trains arrive. To arrive at
Navona Gallery Suites from Termini you should take the bus number
64 from the main square in fron of the station (you
should see lots of orange buses there) Watch your personal
belongings on the bus number 64 as pickpockets may be
operating. Alight in Corso Vittorio Emanuele at the
stop directly in front of the McDonalds. You are on
the right side of the road so simply continue walking
in the same direction the bus was going… after
about 10 meters you will arrive at a little square calle
Piazza S.Pantaleo the street directly in front of you
slightly to the right is Via S.Pantaleo take this street
and follow it for about 15 meters, it then becomes Via
del Governo Vecchio After about 10 meters on the right
you will see our guest house Navona Gallery Suites Via del Governo
Vecchio, number 73.
Arriving at the Navona Gallery Suites By Air
The Air Terminal for Fiumicino International Airport
(also known as Leonardo da Vinci Airport) is located
inside Termini Rail Station which is only 2km from the
hotel. To arrive at the Navona Gallery Suites from Ciampino
Airport (Rome's second airport and where Easyjet and
Ryanair flights arrive) we suggest the Ryanair or Easyjet
courtesy bus which leaves guests at Termini Railway
Station. Alternatively please contact us at info@navonagallerysuites.com
to arrange your pick-up with a private car.
Arriving at the Navona Gallery Suites from Fiumicino Airport
Most clients come to the city centre of Rome by train
so when you arrive at Fiumicino head for the “FS”
sign which also features the picture of a train. Trains
leave every half hour at 07 and 37 minutes past the
hour. The first train leaves at 06:37 and the last one
at 11:37. You can buy a ticket from the Tobacconists
which you will find inside the station near the platform.
The cost of the ticket is 8.80 Euro. NB We suggest that
you book a pick-up with a private car by emailing us
at info@navonagallerysuites.com
Arriving at the Navona Gallery Suites from Ciampino Airport
Ryanair, Flyglobespan and Easyjet all arrive at Rome
Ciampino Airport which is Rome’s second airport.
Ciampino is slightly closer to Rome than Fiumicino but
slightly more difficult to travel from. Ryanair and
Easyjet provide a courtesy bus which costs approximately
7 euro one way which leaves you at Termini Train Station
from here you can take the bus number 64 to our Guest
House. Alternatively, if you want to do as the Romans
do take the bus (Cotral) i.e. a blue bus from directly
in front of the airport. This bus will either take you
to Anagnina Metro Stop which is the last stop on the
Metro Line A or Ciampino Train Station. From here you
can take the train or metro to Termini Train station.
The bus ticket costs 1 euro and the journey time is
about 20 minutes with the first departure at 06:50 and
the last at 11:40 pm while the train or metro journey
takes about 30 minutes (travelling as the Romans do
will save you money but it is certainly a lot more hassle.)
How to get to Rome
Rome is easy to get to – most major airline fly
here and Ryanair is a cheap and convenient airline for
inter travel around Europe. Arriving by train is also
a popular option and Termini Railway Station is only
a 20 minute bus journey from the Navona Gallery Suites.
